2.1. Gadget Medics provides repair and maintenance services for smartphones, tablets, computers, and other electronic devices (“Devices”).

2.2. We may offer additional services, promotions, or programs from time to time. Additional terms may apply to those services, and those terms become part of your agreement with us if you choose to use those services.

3. Repair Authorizations and Approvals

3.1. When you submit your Device for repair or maintenance, you authorize Gadget Medics to perform the necessary diagnostics, repairs, and/or replacements as agreed upon.

3.2. We will provide an estimate of the repair costs before proceeding. If additional issues are discovered during repair that were not identified in the initial inspection, we will communicate the new findings and updated costs. Your approval is required before proceeding with additional repairs.

4. Payment, Pricing, and Promotions

4.1. Payment Methods: We accept cash, major credit cards, debit cards, and other forms of payment as indicated on our website or in-store. All payments are due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2. Pricing: All prices for our Services are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time, but any changes will not affect Services already booked or in progress.

4.3. Promotions and Discounts: Gadget Medics may run promotional offers from time to time. These may have specific terms that will be disclosed at the time the promotions are offered.

5. Repair Time and Deadlines

5.1. Estimated Time: We strive to provide accurate estimates for turnaround times. However, repair schedules can be affected by parts availability, complexity of repairs, or other unforeseen circumstances.

5.2. Delayed Repairs: If a repair takes longer than initially estimated, we will notify you of the delay and provide a revised completion estimate.

6. Data Loss and Data Protection

6.1. Data Backup: It is your responsibility to back up all existing data, software, and programs on your Device prior to seeking repair services. Gadget Medics is not responsible for data loss that may occur during repair.

6.2. Privacy: We respect your privacy and will take reasonable measures to protect any personal data stored on your Device. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your data once it is in our possession, and you agree not to hold Gadget Medics liable for any unauthorized access or data breaches.

7. Manufacturer Warranties

7.1. Certain repairs or modifications may void the manufacturer’s warranty. You are responsible for reviewing any warranty information related to your Device before authorizing repair. Gadget Medics is not responsible for any voided manufacturer warranties.

8. Gadget Medics Limited Repair Warranty

8.1. Limited Warranty: We offer a limited warranty for repairs and parts replaced by Gadget Medics.

8.2. Warranty Claims: To submit a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period. We may require proof of purchase or other documentation.

8.3. Exclusions: This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or external events beyond our control (e.g., power surges, liquid damage after repair, etc.).

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

9.1. As-Is Basis: Except for the limited warranty on specific repairs, Gadget Medics provides the Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

9.2. No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that our Services will meet your specific requirements or be error-free.

9.3. Third-Party Parts: Where third-party components are used, we disclaim any liability for the quality or performance of such parts, unless otherwise stated in our limited repair warranty.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. Maximum Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gadget Medics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our Services.

10.2. Cap on Damages: In no event shall Gadget Medics’ total liability exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific Services that gave rise to the claim.
